Welcome to David & Steve's Fireside Tavern.
David Haines and Steve Kirkessner, along with our spouses Sandy and Stephanie, would like to welcome you to our newest venture.
We have been a part of Lancaster and the restaurant business for the past 30 years. Many of you may remember the D&S Brasserie, Harmony Inn or Distinctive Affairs Catering and we are looking forward to bring our experience to the Fireside Tavern.
At The Fireside, we have combined the best from all of our previous menus and added some exciting new items. We offer a cozy tavern, several casual dining areas and banquet facilities. We hope you'll join us soon for a night out or a special occasion.

What isn't there to love about The Fireside? The menu is versatile and wallet friendly. From burgers (which are the best), to Filet and Crabcake, and everything inbetween, you will surely find something for every palate! I would describe the atmosphere as casual and fun, and the service awesome.

My husband and I are regulars at the fireside and we could not find a nicer place in lancaster county. The food is excellent and the service is exceptional!! We have gotten to know the owners, servers, and bartenders, and it has been nothing but a pleasure!! It is so nice walking into an establishment and seeing the same faces month after month....not the employee turnaround most restaurants experience. With this being said, I was very unhappy to see the negative review by "transplant". Obviously this isn't the first place they have had an issue with...my recommendation to them would be to stay home!! We rave about this place to our friends and family, of which many have become regulars as well!! Thank You for running such a well managed restaurant!!! We always look forward to going to the Fireside!!!!

After having a very difficult time finding a good restaurant in the southern end we found the Fireside Tavern. On our third visit we found the steak to be tasteless and the service the same. Our server was very rude. The search is on again for our group friday/saturday night outings.

We really enjoyed the food and the prices were very reasonable. I had the steak and cake and my husband also had the crab cakes - very yummy! TVs in the corners of the room made the atmosphere rather casual. My only negative comment was the noise level! However, that mostly came from the large party near us in the dining room and the wedding reception going on in the banquet room. Our waitress was a sweetheart and fun. She even gave us a free dessert for my birthday! We'd go there again!
